Darwin and Dinosaurs. 2009 was Darwin's 200th birthday and the 150th anniversary of "On the Origin of Species." Embedded Exhibitions spent years in delicate negotiations for access to one of the world's finest, historically important private Charles Darwin collections to produce an inspiring and educational exhibition. The exhibit features a complete selection of First Edition books, artifacts, letters, papers, maps, lectures and more. These Darin materials (valued at well over $1,000,000) have never been on public display before. Coupled with this extensive collection are the historically significant specimens of Triebold Paleontology, Inc. in collaboration with the Natural History Museum London. Showings
Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center (Woodland Park, CO) April 4 through July 4, 2009. Southwest Florida Museum of History (Ft. Myers, FL) January 15 through May 15, 2010. The exhibit is available for minimum individual 12 week rental. Your facility is responsibile for inbound and outbound shipping, unless the exhibit is going to another venue. Professional technical setup and breakdown services are $1500 each. The exhibit will need to be insured by your carrier while at your facility.
